Geusseltbad reopened

The FNV has ended the strike at the Geusseltbad. From Monday 2 September, the Geusseltbad will reopen according to regular schedule.

Tickets are available through the ticket shop. Swimming lessons will restart this Saturday, you will receive an e-mail if you're following swimming lessons. Our information desk is also open and will answer your questions as soon as possible. 

Recreational swimming

Below you can see on which day you can go recreational swimming at the Geusseltbad. If the weather is good, the outdoor pool is also open. Check the website daily to see if the outdoor pool is open. Book your ticket via the ticketshop.

Frequently asked questions

  • Due to strikes by Geusseltbad employees, the information desk is closed. During a strike, certain rules apply to employers in the Netherlands. For example, the work of strikers may not be taken over by willing employees or employees who normally do other work. For this reason, we cannot take calls and e-mails until the strike ends. Unfortunately, it is not known when the strike will end and we will be able to restart all services.

  • Due to this unpleasant situation, all cards will be extended for the period of the closure. When the strike has ended, this will be automatically adjusted. You do not have to do anything for this. Unfortunately, no refunds can be given.

  • Cancellation is not possible. Move your ticket to another date. Rescheduling is only possible to the same swimming activity. Have you booked with an account? Follow these steps:

    1. Log in with your account on the ticketshop
    2. Choose: 'Mijn profiel'
    3. Choose: 'Reeds gekochte e-tickets en abonnementen'
    4. Choose: 'Mijn groepslessen'
    5. You will see an overview with all your purchased tickets. Click the ‘Move’ button next to the correct ticket and choose a new date and time

    Booked a a guest?
    Reschedule the activity via the link in the booking confirmation. You will then receive a new ticket. Please note: when moving a reservation again, use the link from the first reservation e-mail.

  • Very unfortunate that you were unable to use your ticket(s). Please send an email to info [at] maastrichtsport.nl (info[at]maastrichtsport[dot]nl). When the strike has ended we will contact you to resolve this.
