Lane swimming
Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned swimmer, Geusseltbad welcomes you to lane swimming!
Lane swimming is the perfect workout. It’s a great way to improve your fitness and burn calories, while keeping the risk of injury low.
Lane swimming mainly takes place in the competition pool, and occasionally in the combination pool. The pool is divided into different lanes: a recreational lane, a continuous swimming lane, and a fast lane. This way, everyone can swim at their own level and pace. Each lane swimming session is scheduled in 60-minute time slots. Check the timetable to find exact times and reserve your slot.
Tip: planning to swim lanes regularly? Choose a multiple entry card and enjoy a nice discount on each visit!
Need a bit more guidance or challenge? During lane swimming, various training plans are available to help you out, offering plenty of variety for both beginner and advanced swimmers. You’ll find them at the competition pool. They’re also available in English.

You can easily order your ticket in the ticket shop. If you’re unable to order online, you can also purchase a ticket at our information desk. To ensure you can join an activity, we recommend booking your ticket online in advance.

Have you bought a ticket but can’t unexpectedly participate in the swimming activity? Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your ticket. However, you can easily reschedule your ticket via the ticket shop to a different date or time. Tickets can only be moved to the same type of activity and can be rescheduled up to 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
- Log in to your account on the ticket shop
- Go to: ‘Mijn activiteiten’. There you’ll see your purchased tickets
- Select the ticket you want to change and click ‘Datum wijzigen’
- Choose a new date and time
- Click ‘Bijwerken’
Have you bought multiple tickets and want to reschedule them all at once to the same date and time? You can select them together and update them in one go.

You can easily extend or top up your card by purchasing a new one in the ticket shop. The entries from the new card will automatically be added to your existing card. Your old entries will be used first. The new ones will only start once the old entries have been used up.
